Do I need a separate account for each app?

No. You sign in once at auth.mazaoverse.com and every app (Books, CRM, Data Room, Deals and the rest) uses the same sign-in. Use "All Mazaoverse apps" in any app's menu to move between them.

Can I try Mazaoverse before signing up?

Yes. The demo runs with a made-up business, so you can click through every app without entering your own data.

Where do I start as a business owner?

Start with the Foundation apps: record your transactions in Books, set up BizTracker, and upload your registration and tax documents to the Data Room. Those give you your first Harvest Index.

Where do I start as an expert or advisor?

Open Referrals, upload the businesses you work with or share your referral link, and ask each owner to approve you. Once approved you can work in their apps on their behalf.

Register as an investor, then browse Showcase for businesses raising now. Each is listed under a code name; the company is revealed after the lister approves you and you accept their NDA.

What is the Guide button in each app?

It is the first button in every app's top bar. It shows what the app is for, what the current page does, and three to six steps to get going. Steps tick themselves when you visit their page, and you can take the tour again from the Guide panel.

Can I use Mazaoverse on my phone?

Yes. Every app works on a phone. On mazaoverse.com you can also add Mazaoverse to your home screen from your browser's menu so it opens like an app.

Can I change the language or switch to dark mode?

Yes. Use the language picker and the moon or sun button in the top bar. Your choice is shared by every Mazaoverse site, and you can also set language, currency, timezone and theme in Settings → Preferences.

What plans are there for businesses?

Demo is free. Grow is KES 3,500 a month (Books, BizTracker, CRM, Data Room and Showcase), Raise is KES 7,500 a month (everything in Grow plus Equity, Capital, Deals and the Financial Modeler), and Harvest is KES 15,000 a month (everything in Raise plus Check In and Exit).

Can I pause my plan?

Yes. Pause costs KES 500 a month and keeps your Data Room open while every other app waits. Pay for Pause with the same email as your Mazaoverse account, and cancel your current plan's renewal on Paystack so you aren't billed for both.

How do I resume after pausing?

Pick Grow, Raise or Harvest on the pricing page and pay with the same email. The apps on that plan open again as soon as the payment goes through.

Why does an app send me to the pricing page?

That app isn't on your current plan. If you're on Pause, only the Data Room is open. Choose the plan that includes the app to unlock it.

Expert Scout is KES 5,000 a month for up to 10 clients, Expert Pro KES 50,000 a month for up to 25 clients with white-label reports, and Expert Enterprise KES 150,000 a month for unlimited clients, programmes and the Financial Modeler. Scouts are free and earn commission instead.

How do I get my first score?

Add your own records: registration and tax documents in the Data Room, transactions in Books, and your team, suppliers and customers in BizTracker and CRM. Your score appears once there is enough data to work from.

Work on the pillar marked "Start here" on your Harvest Index page: it is your lowest. Each pillar names the app where its evidence comes from.

It means the score is working from limited data. It firms up as more of your records come in.

Why can't I delete someone from the payroll roster?

If they are in past pay runs, Books keeps their payslips so your statements stay correct. The bin removes them from the roster and leaves them out of new pay runs. Tick "Show former staff" to see them again, and use Restore to bring them back.

Where do my unit economics numbers come from?

From your ledger, payroll and balance sheet in Books, and from your customers, invoices and deals in CRM. Each metric shows its formula and source. Any input can be overridden on the Inputs tab; clear it to go back to the automatic figure.

How do I see margins per product or branch?

On the Products and lines tab, add a line with keywords (for example "gate, grill"). Sales and direct costs whose account, description or customer contains a keyword are counted to that line, and you can tag any transaction by hand. Add units sold to see price, cost and contribution per unit.
